: : : : : : : : : Download was completed,but could not install.Got message "LZERROR-Badinhandle sourcefile missing or damaged." This has occurred on previous versions and the only way it worked for me was to have you download fole directly to me.Wish we could foqure out why? : : : : : : : : Franklin, : : : : : : : : I'm not sure why either. Did you check the : : : : : : : : byte count of the downloaded file to see if it : : : : : : : : matched what is written on the beta download : : : : : : : : page? : : : : : : : : I will e-mail you the program. : : : : : : : : Thanks, : : : : : : : : Mark : : : : : : : : -- : : : : : : : : Mark Beiley : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Fund Manager for Windows 3.1x/95/98/NT : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Mark, : : : : : : : I downloaded your email version twice and it only showed a 1.51 MB module rather then the 1.55? I have no idea what to do next. : : : : : : Hi Gary, : : : : : : This is probably okay. Are you looking at the byte count? Please check the bytes, not MB, as 1MB = 1,048,576 bytes, not 1,000,000 bytes. : : : : : : You can do this by selecting the file in Windows : : : : : : Explorer and looking at the properties. Right : : : : : : click on the file, and choose "Properties" from : : : : : : the popup menu. This will show the size in : : : : : : bytes. The file I sent you was the beta1 version, : : : : : : which should have been 1,550,848 bytes. : : : : : : Thanks, : : : : : : Mark : : : : : : -- : : : : : : Mark Beiley : : : : : : : : : : : : Fund Manager for Windows 3.1x/95/98/NT : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Mark, : : : : : The file is 1,550,848. However it also shows 1,552,384 bytes used. : : : : : : : : This is the correct file size for FM 4.1 beta 1. : : : : The second number is just showing how much of : : : : your disk space is being used by that sized file. : : : : This second number is usually a little more : : : : than the file size. : : : : Thanks, : : : : Mark : : : : -- : : : : Mark Beiley : : : : : : : : Fund Manager for Windows 3.1x/95/98/NT : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Mark, : : : Do you think it could be an AOL problem in downloading even though it liiks like the right size module was downloaded? : : Have you tried installing this downloaded module? : : This is the one I e-mailed you. I thought the : : install problems happened with the downloaded : : one from our web site, but hadn't heard about : : any problems with the one we e-mailed you, that : : is the correct filesize? : : Thanks, : : Mark : : -- : : Mark Beiley : : : : Fund Manager for Windows 3.1x/95/98/NT : : : : : : Mark, I've had Same problem loading either the web model or the one you sent me. I tried 3 times on each.Please send me another one via email and I'll try again. I simply can't understand why no one else is having problem.That's why I'm wondering if something is messed up on "MY" AOL system.A problem inique to me. Hi Franklin, Okay, I'll send it again. If you still have problems why don't we take this off-line, I do believe it is probably something specific to just your situation somehow. Thanks, Mark -- Mark Beiley
