: Mark:
: It appears to me that the reports might have a bug.
: I'm looking at a custom report showing beginning NAV,
: ending NAV, and gain(btw) from 6/21/99 to 6/22/99.
: The beginning NAV is actually from 6/18/99.
: Said another way, the gain for my portfolio for
: the day is a different number on this report than
: I see on the Portfolio Value/Cost graph in parentheses.
: The beginning NAV number on the report also doesn't
: jive with the actual price for that day in the
: investment database.

Hi Dan,
As of version 4.0, the way report values are reported
for beginning values changed. The beginning values are
the values on the start of the beginning report date, instead
of the end of the beginning report date. This is so that
any gains made on the starting report date are included in
figures such as gains and yields. So, if your custom report is from
6/21 to 6/29, the beginning NAV will be the opening price
for 6/21, which is the same as the closing price of 6/20. It is
not the closing price on 6/21.
In order to adjust your report to give you a one day gain, change
the starting and ending dates to be the same date, i.e. 6/21/99 - 6/21/99.

Thanks,
Mark
