ROI calculation of NA

I have noticed on occasion that the ROI figure I get for an individual stock is sometimes NA. Sometimes it has an actual number there. The start date is always the same (1-1-00) and the end date is the previous date (after retrieving stock prices). It looks to me like it has something to do with the size of the number. The largest return I have seen is about 6000% (stock performing well). But the next day, when the price went up again, it was NA. My question is: Is there a value/size limit to this field? And if so, it would be nice to put something like '+10000' rather than 'NA'.
I have read the other posts on the NA problem, but I tend to think that this is related to the value of that ROI number. By the way, this is a fantastic product - keep up the good work! Thanks
