Mark,
I am still interested to see if it is possible for you to incorporate
a way to create a report which will list 6 quarters of portfolio values.
It seems that you already have the program language to list the portfolio
value as of any defined date. It also appears that you can identify quarterly
periods as in your "Gain for 3 months, Gain for 6 months". I recognize that
everything is built around a beginning and end date so that you can calculate
various measures of gains. However, the actual investment values for each
quarter are of just as much interest to me. I hope that you will be able
to give this some consideration in your up coming versions.
Quarterly End Values
10/1/99 - 3/31/00 Qtr 1 Qtr 2 Qtr 3 Qtr 4 Qtr 5 Qtr 6 Any other format that you choose which accomplishes almost the same thing such
as allowing for the presentation in a single report of multiple beginning and
ending values would be OK. Thanks for your consideration, Bill Putt
