importing historical index values

How can I import into fundmanager historical index values
such as DJIA, SP500 etc, and compare their performance with
my investments? I am thinking of creating dummy investments
with zero shares and overlay their cost/price charts on my investments.
Is there a server and what "stock symbol" should I use.
