Changed fund manager to retrieve quotes via a proxy server. Using Yahoo and Yahoo historical. It does work, but it is extremely slow--many times slower than my phone modem. Yet the satellite system shows download bit rates of 300-500 kbps. Any ideas as to what is causing this?

Hi Barry,
I'm not sure why the speed is slow. It should be the same as if you
access the quotes with your browser, as long as you have the same proxy
settings.
