Transfer FM to new computer?

I'm getting a new computer (Windows ME) and want to move all my FM files to it from my old computer (Windows 95).

I've not kept the install program for FM.
What's the best way to move everything?
Can the FM.exe program be transferred without messing up the registry?
Can the computers be connected with a cable to avoid the floppies route (I have lots of other stuff to move as well)?
I don't have an ethernet card.
