: There should be no problem with just copying your investment files (*.dat)

Mark, 1)I'm using the same FM version: 4.7.226 ; 2) I'm copying both the ".dat" and the portfolio files; 3) same path on both machines.
One difference is that my desktop is running W98 and the laptop has W95. Could this cause a problem?
