: Last year you helped me establish a memorized report to track my portfolio for the year 2000 and it worked well, except that it continues to run through today's date and did not cut off at the end of the year. I have forgotten how I set up the portfolio and in trying to establish a pertfolio for 2001 all I get is a daily portfolio value and not a ytd figure.

: Could you please walk me through how to set up a report for 1/2/2001 to 12/30/2000? Thanks.

Hi Sam,
Sure. Just open up your portfolio or investments that you want the
report created for. Then, choose "Reports/". It
sounds like you may want the "Portfolio Performance" report? You will
be prompted for the date range, title, etc... Fill this in and click "done".
Then, click "Edit/Memorize..." and give it a title. There are a couple
options on memorized reports that control the dates. You can float the
ending date, and have the start date stay relative to the end date, or be
fixed on a particular date. Next time you want to create this report
just select it from the "Report" menu if you are inside the Main graphs
window, or under "File/Open Memorized" if you are in a report window.

Thanks,
Mark
