However, I am not sure that this approach is entirely what I am after. I want to know whether my personal investment decisions are out-performing the market and by how much. The "deposits" and "withdrawals" in my portfolio reflect investment decisions that I make in trying to out-perform the market. If I had invested an initial sum in an index fund, I am unlikely to have made the same deposits and withdrawals. In other words, I want to see whether my "active" trading activities perform better than a "passive" buy & hold strategy. : : In one of my current portfolio's I am doing worse than the market index using FM4 with starting value of $100 (I use 100 because it gives an easy percentage calculation) but I am doing better than the market index in FM5. : : This feature was one of the key decisions in deciding to use FM. I will probably get used to the new graph, but am a little disappointed that functionality was actually removed in an upgrade - particularly one that would have no impact on the performance of the application. : Danny, : Thanks, Mark, I think the two sub-graphs would be ideal! Now, is there any way to get more than one graph window in a portfolio....(better not push my luck). Honestly, thanks for considering my point of view - I hope I'm not the only one who benefits!
