: : : Hi Mark, : : : I'm having a problem I can't figure out. I'm using FM 5.0 Pro. When using TC, the lower graph works fine for 5 out of 7 securities. On the two securities that are a problem I get a streight line on ATR, CMF, CCI, MACD, MONEY FLOW, RSI, STOCHASTIC, AND WILLIAMS %R. Any suggestions ? : : : Sincere thanks. : : : Ray : : Hi Ray, : : Is this just a straight line on the bottom indicator graph, or on top too? : : Did you check that the date range isn't set to 1 day? : : Could you e-mail us 1 of these 2 securities that aren't working, along with : : the date range that you're using? : : Thanks, : : Mark : : -- : : Mark Beiley : : : : Fund Manager for Windows 3.1x/95/98/NT : : : : : Hi Mark, : I've sent you a copy of the dat file, via e-mail, for the security in question. The additional thing I've notice is that the lower graph does not always adjust its scale properly. Example: On the security in question, if I select MACD, the scale should be in the range of -5 to +5. However, it's set from -10,000,000 to +20,000,000. This is probable why the graph is not visible. : Thanks : Ray Hi Ray, Thanks for sending the file. The reason the indicator line seems flat and the scale is so large is because of a recorded trendline in the lower section of your TA graph. Since the scale is being set to these extremes it sounds like your trendline markers are actually turned on. I believe you mentioned above you weren't seeing the trendline markers. It may actually be that you're not seeing them because of a color setting, rather than the markers not actually being turned on. Please choose "Options/ Colors..." and check out what color you have assigned for "NAV trend line". Make sure it is a different color than your background color. You can delete this trendline if you want by choosing "Edit/Trendline...". Thanks, Mark -- Mark Beiley
