Two new Fund Manager 5.0 versions have been officially released. We would like to thank everyone who helped with the beta testing. Fund Manager is now available in both Personal and Professional versions. The Personal version is primarily for the individual investor (i.e. the original Fund Manager program), while the Professional version is intended for professional traders or money managers. Read below for more details on each and how to obtain a copy. The new versions of Fund Manager are available now from the download page: http://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/download.html If you have ever registered any previous version of Fund Manager you are entitled to upgrade to Fund Manager Personal 5.x or Fund Manager Professional 5.x: Upgrade: Fund Manager Personal $10 Fund Manager Professional $160 If you have never registered any version of Fund Manager before the "new user" registration prices are: New: Fund Manager Personal $39 Fund Manager Professional $195 Please see "Help/Registration Information..." from within Fund Manager, or visit our registration page on the web at: http://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/register.html The 5.0 versions use a new investment file format. The 5.0 versions can read all previous file formats, so you can continue to use your existing data. Once you save your investment files with a 5.0 version however, you will not be able to open those same files using earlier versions of Fund Manager. Before using these new versions, please make a backup copy of your investment (*.dat) and portfolio (*.mm4) files in case you choose to not upgrade to version 5.0. The simplest method of installing a 5.0 version would be to just install right over any previous version you may be using now. As an example, if you have version 4.7 installed in c:\finance, just install version 5.0 into c:\finance, overwriting version 4.7. It is best to not uninstall your older version before installing 5.0, as Fund Manager 5.0 will use defaults you may have set up with earlier versions. Both Personal and Professional versions use the same file format. You can use these versions interchangeably on your same data files.
