: I have in my portfolio a cash account. How do I handle when a cash dividend is : issued and my broker adds this dividend to my cash account so that the amount : is credited to the particular stock and the cash added to my cash account? Hi Pablo, You can assign your cash account as the default cash account for the portfolio under "Options/Preferences.../Other". Then, just record your distributed distribution (don't check the reinvested box) for your investment that paid the distribution. The funds will be added to your cash account automatically. If you don't want to use the default cash account you can also add it in manually. Thanks, Mark -- Mark Beiley
