: Dear Mark - can you help ?

: I downloaded 6 months historical data for RBS.L (Royal Bank of Scotland) from "yahoo historical" and recieved data around 15.40 (15.40) in Pounds.

: But when I go to properties and reset to download from "yahoo UK and Ireland" and then at the next internet update I recieve data as 15.40 which is in pence which makes the chart dive to near zero.

: Am I doing something wrong ?
: With many thanks

Hi Robert,

By default the Yahoo - UK server will update symbols ending in .L in pounds.
You can change this to be pence, so it will match the data format coming
down from Yahoo - Historical. For instructions on doing this, see:

http://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/intrtv.html#version102

You will want to set X equal to 1 to update in pence from this server.

The other option is to scale the historical data using "File/File
Operations/Scale Prices...". You can either do this in your main
investment, or you could create a temporary investment to retrieve
historical prices, scale them, and then import prices from that temporary
investment. The first option is probably easier, but then you'll be
working in pence instead of pounds...

I will look into adding an option to scale the Yahoo - Historical data
rather than forcing you to go back to pence.

Thanks,
Mark
