So let me get the facts straight.

1. By definition the "-C" report fields are designed to give the
user information on their "current" shares.

2. The user enters specific lots so the program can determine which
shares are closed and which shares remain "current".

Because the "-C" report fields don't work with specific lots this is
considered a documentation error??? I'm confused.

Its interesting how programmers always at first takes the position; "If
the program is working as coded, then there is no bug." Software
"users", like myself, see things differently.

: : Hey, what happened to the "specific lots, custom reports fields" trend?
: : Did the the trend that I started actually get deleted because of my
: : negative comments??? Gee Mark, you are one sensitive programmer!
: : The custom reporting fields that don't support specific lots is a fact
: : that FM users should be able to read about.

: Hi Joe,

: Yes, I removed that thread. I felt the later posts weren't constructive.
: I agree the FM relevant information is helpful to others.
: All the "-C" related custom report fields are based off the FIFO accounting
: method, whether or not you have specified lots in an investment.

: Thanks,
: Mark
