: I have a portfolio of several mutual funds, but the asset allocation reports them all belonging to one asset type. I have attempted to assign each one (large cap stock, small cap value, etc.), but it seems to ask me what the percentage is. If I input a number, it says total must be 100? Shouldn't the program calculate each funds percentage of the total portfolio? Another way to ask this - how do I get the asset allocation report to correctly show the beginning and ending %? Do I need to first reset something?

Hi John,

You assign the asset type of each investment under "Investment Properties../
Asset Type". All of the 25 asset types will be listed here, and you can
assign different percentages to different asset types, but the sum of all of
your assignments must equal 100%. This is just for this investment. So, for
example, you could say this investment is 50% Large Cap and 50% Intl Stock.
FM will handle figuring out the total portfolio %/amount in the reports.

Thanks,
Mark
