Security Signature

Just for fun I decided to verify the signature in the Version 6.6 announcement.
So I downloaded Mark's key and ran the announcement thru GPG (linux PGP clone)
The following output was obtained:

gpg: Signature made Tue 05 Aug 2003 01:15:47 AM CDT using DSA key ID AD56F687
gpg: BAD signature from "Beiley Software Inc. <>"

Did anyone else successfully decrypt the signature? Is Mark really Mark?
Or is this linux program just a piece of junk?
