Hi Marlowe,

I'm not sure of what the problem is. Are you opening your
portfolio before recording transactions? The assignement
of the default cash account is memorized in your portfolio.
One possibility is that you're just opening the investments,
recording the sale, and the default cash account was not
currently set when recording the sale.

If you see the problem occur right after recording any
transaction please go to "Options/Preferences.../Other"
and check to see if your default cash assignment is still set.
