I purchased a new fund and to get my symbols for retrieval, I usually went to Canada Stockwatch and did a symbol lookup. : : Surprisingly, you must now have an account on Canada Stockwatch to proceed with a symbol lookup. : : Does somebody have an idea where I can get daily prices for Canadian mutual funds? And where can I find the symbols? : : Thanks ! : : : Hi Dave, : You could use this site: : http://funds.moneysense.ca/eng/investing/funds/screener/index.jsp : to do your symbol lookup. : Thanks, Mark: I tried the moneysense site you quote above. The only symbols it seems to give for Canadian mutual funds are what appear to be its own, such as AIC*DER for AIC Diversified Canada Fund. Stockwatch comes up with a blank, as does Yahoo, and all in all, ticker symbols don't seem to be given at any mutual fund web site, no matter how comprehensive they may be (such as Globe & Mail's site). I am beginning to wonder if they are used at all. Do you have any advice on how we should update our Canadian mutual fund prices? Jack
