The %Gain-V is just (end value - beg value)/(beg value). : If you invested money in the middle, it will make your %Gain-V big. The : portfolio overlay / Price + Dist graphs plot the change due to share price : and distributions, not change in value. If you would like to see these : match, use the "Portfolio/Investment Overlay / Value" graph instead. You : will need to adjust the start date of the graph to 1 day earlier than the : start of the Portfolio Performance report, as the report uses the close : of the prior day for its beginning value. : Thanks, : Mark : -- : Mark Beiley : : Fund Manager, portfolio management software for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/00/XP : Hi Mark, In a report, what return formula should I use to compute the YTD performance of any stock bought during the YTD period as well as the YTD portfolio performance. Thanks & regards Lang Tu
