: Microsoft ISA server was recently added to our network. I have gone to internet settings and chosen to use a proxy server and given a valid authorization. When I try to do a price update (Yahoo historical) I am getting an error that the ISA server is rejecting the request based on the URL. However, I can reach Yahoo historical just fine through my browser. Is the Fund Manager request in some protocol other than HTTP (FTP perhaps?)? Thanks!

Hi Tom,

FM uses the HTTP protocol. I don't know much about Microsoft ISA, but
once a day on your first retrieve FM checks our web site for an update.
It may be that it is rejecting it based on that? Can you add www.fundmanagersoftware.com
to your list of acceptable sites somehow?

What if you try to use the proxy option of "Use Windows Settings", instead
of manually specifying them. You have to be using FM 6.5 or later for
this option to be available.

Thanks,
Mark
