: : : I find this facility very useful and time saving. However, where certain funds have bid and offer prices, the prices retrieved are interpolated as mid prices, whereas I really want the bid price, which is how the fund will be valued.
: : : Is there any way that I can retrieve bid prices in these circumstances. My server is Yahoo UK & Ireland.

: Hi Mark,
: As an example, Aberdeen Asia Pacific Fund. Code MFNTPAC.L retrieves the mid price. The current prices are: bid 89.58; offer 94.78. I want to retrieve the bid price which is the value to me.

Hi Eugene,

The price that is updated is the "Last Trade" price. In general this is
the way all of the quote servers update prices. I double checked, and it
is working that way for this server too. I believe this is the more common
price people would want to use to value their investments, rather than the
bid price. In the future we may be able to support tracking a buy/offer
set of prices.

Thanks,
Mark
