: Mark: When viewing an individual security on a full screen basis, it usually has a date abscissa scale that covers several months or even years. If one wants to see how the security is doing in the near term, the date scale has to be changed and then changed back afterward to the orginal scaling.

: "It would be nice" (How many times have you read those words?) if one could click an icon which would temporarily show the last two weeks of activity (or last month, or, ...) across the full abscissa. This temporarily expanded display would disappear returning to the original scaling of the abscissa upon clicking the icon again or when a change was made leaving this security to view any other security.

: I hope my thoughts are presented sufficiently clearly to present the idea.

Hi Chuck,

I have a couple of suggestions to do this now. If you want to zoom the x-axis
and then be able to go back, you can just hold down the shift key, and click
and drag with your left mouse button. This will do a date zoom, wherever you
select. With the shift key held down you will see the zoom region extend from
the bottom to the top of the graph. It only zooms the X-axis.

Then, you can quickly go back by hitting the 'u' key on your keyboard. There
are also many other keyboard shortcuts for adjusting the date. Please see
"Help/Keyboard...". You may find some others you find useful.

Thanks,
Mark
