: : Hi Mark I tried to run a XP repair to replace the Winlnet dll that was messed up with the : Paper port installation a week or so ago. I didn't know what I was doing and paid someone else to finish what I started. Well the XP repair caused a need to update the Bios so my USB ports would work.Updating the Bios cause the Winlnet dll to get messed up again. If you think Windows update will work as well with Fund Master for retrieving prices. Please point me in the direction of instructions to switch to windows updates. I remember years ago when its took Fund Master several minutes to update 20 prices, wouldn't want to go back to that. Hi Lawrence, Sounds like that didn't go too well... I'm not sure what you mean by using "Windows update" to work with Fund Manager? You can skip using WinInet.dll by going into Fund Manager and choosing "Options/Internet Settings..." and removing the check mark next to "Proxy Settings / Use Windows Settings". The retrieve speed will be the same whether this option is on or off. Thanks, Mark -- Mark Beiley
