It would be more elegant to collect from Yahoo UK as you suggest but I still need to collect historical data which would also need converting. Would this be a case of altering the registry entry for Yahoo History to match Yahoo UK collection?

Hello Bob,

Unfortunately, this registry key does not affect the prices when using
the Yahoo (Historical) server. We should add such an option into the
program... You have a couple of options, you can either do it as you've
described above, or you could just always keep everything in pence. A
third option if you want to use pounds and the historical server is
to use the "File/File Operations/Scale Prices..." command. This hopefully
wouldn't be too bad, as you only normally need to retrieve historical prices
once per investment. To convert from pence to pounds, just multiply
your price data by 0.01 with this command.
