: I'm still running Fund Manager 5.2. Is there any way I can move the main data folder (My_Data) out of the main Fund Manager folder? I'd like to move it to the drive with all of my other data.

: Thanks.

Hi David,

It depends how you've stored all your data. Portfolios recall their
investments based on the relative location to the portfolio file itself.
If all your portfolios and investments are in the my_data folder and/or
sub-folders of this folder, then you can easily just move the whole
thing, and the portfolios should be able to find their investments, no problem.

However, if you have portfolios in some other folder, and you move the location
of just the investment files the portfolios wouldn't be able to find their
investments.

Thanks,
Mark
