: I guess I figured it out... It works if I change the order of the fields.

:
: : As I mentioned in an earler posting, I had a "process" to import prices of CanadianMutual Funds (it's not possible to retrieve directly from the Internet). However, I re-imaged my PC, and reinstalled everything, including FM.

: : I can't make the import work though, and I don't know what's wrong.This is what I do: I save a file in the following format:

: : "3/29/2004","21.54","CTDB627C"
: : "3/30/2002","21.57","CTDB627C"

: :
: : Then, I go to File --> Import --> Prices --> Generic

: : I choose the following:

: : "MM/DD/YY" , "NAV", "SYMB"

: : I uploads prices, but they are wrong... The program "cuts" the first two characters, so the prices are uploaded as 0.54 and 0.57???

: : What am I doing wrong?

: : Thanks.

Hi Daniel,

I also noticed you had extra spaces in your format string. Instead of:

"MM/DD/YY" , "NAV", "SYMB"

it should have been:

"MM/DD/YY","NAV","SYMB"

Thanks,
Mark
