: Mark, I am very happy with your software. However, I am having a problem with it timing out. Is there a setting on the computer to help prevent this. Additionally, I am thinking about upgrading from the personal version. I want to get a trailing alert that is based on % below 50 Day Moving Average. Can I do that? Additionally, if I have real time data, will it update the report automatically or do I have to initiate the action? Thanks for all your help Mark. Ron Rubinoff

Hi Ron,

Is this timing out happening when you are doing an internet retrieve of
prices? If so, have you tried using a different server? What server are
you using?

The Professional version offers trailing stop loss alerts, but only on
the share price itself, not the 50 day moving average. It is something
we're planning on adding though...

Yes, your reports will update automatically each time prices are updated.
If you aren't already using it, you can set Fund Manager to retrieve
automatically at a regular time interval. See "Option / Internet Settings...".
Choose the "Automatic Retrieve" button, and then press "Frequency...".
You can set it to retrieve every X minutes. After each retrieve all reports
and graphs will automatically update.

Thanks,
Mark
