Hi Amanda,

For all of these investment types I'd recommend tracking them with a
constant $1 share price. As you buy, record the value of the purchase/sell equal to the number of shares. You can turn off internet retrieve of prices
to maintain the constant $1 share price. See "Investment Properties... /
Internet Retrieve / Retrieve Price".

As you receive interest that is deposited into your savings account,
just record that as a reinvested distribution of type 'interest'. If you
receive an interest payment, record that as a distributed distribution of
type 'interest'.
