: Hi Mark:

: We're getting there! The spreadsheet manipulation worked a treat - just a couple of minutes' work. The only slightly tricky part is transferring it into FM. Could you please give me the input format for the following data layout. I looked up the help file, but couldn't quite figure out how to do this:

: Date Open High Low Close Volume Adj. Close*
: 14-Apr-04 1.3360 1.3351 1.3488 1.3454 0.0000 1.3454
: 13-Apr-04 1.3351 1.3340 1.3412 1.3351 0.0000 1.3351
: 12-Apr-04 1.3270 1.3268 1.3396 1.3373 0.0000 1.3373
: 08-Apr-04 1.3111 1.3094 1.3287 1.3277 0.0000 1.3277

: Best regards,

: Jack

Hi Jack,

If you save this to a tab delimited text file, you can then use the
generic price import, with these options:

Specify Symbol: Yes
Specify Date: No
Format String: DD-MM-YY OO HH LL NAV VV XX

Thanks,
Mark
