: : : I am experimenting for 1st time with professional version and am currently having problems removing multiple instances of same investment (apparently entered same one more than once in error). Also seem to be having problems getting the multiple display feature to work. The program tells me I have all the investments open but when I change the display number from 1 to 4 or 9 only the one graph currently open displays, just gets smaller.

: : Hi Mike,

: : If you have one of the "Portfolio" based graphs selected, you will only get
: : a single graph displayed. Look under the "Graphs" menu. All the graph
: : choices above the first separator are "Portfolio" based graphs. If you select
: : one of the "Investment" based graphs like "Share Price" you should see
: : the 4 or 9 graphs.

: : Thanks,
: : Mark

: Ok thanks that solves the multiple displays. How about cleaning up multiple instances entered in error or an investment I want to take out of a portfolio?

An easy way to check to see if you have the same investment file opened
more than once is to use the "Custom" report with the "Path and filename"
field. If you have duplicates opened, just right click on the line in
the report, and choose "Close Investment" from the popup menu. Once you're
all done closing investments, remember to use "File / Save Portfolio"
from the main graphs window to memorize your changes.

Thanks,
Mark
