: I have been mostly able to get this to work from Yahoo in 6 month chunks repeating back, however I am wondering if this should (or is there a way ) update all of the investments in the portfolio at the same time when I do this? It seems to run thru all the symbols but some dont seem to update. I am now trying to get historical prices in for IGN Goldman Networking Index iShare and cant seem to get this to download historical prices at all. It will update one at a time but would rather not have to do that. Any ideas?

Hi Mike,

When you do a retrieve all open investments should get updated.
There should be no difference between updating an investment if it is open
by itself, or part of a portfolio. Are you changing the "Default Quote Server"
or are you changing the server under the investment properties of the
investment? Normally, you'd just leave the investment properties set to
"Default Server", and then change the global default server under
"Options/Internet Settings...". This will then apply to all open investments
with the "Default server" set as their server.

What is the symbol of the investment you're not able to get historical
prices for? It may not be available.

I'm not sure if this helps at all?

Thanks,
Mark
