Fixing the X-axis once and for all!![ Q2 03 - Q4 05 Archive ] [ Current Message Board ] [ Archives ] [ Search ] Posted by Jack on May 02, 2004 at 08:13:59:Mark: I find I'm spending a large amount of time continuously adjusting the x-axis of my investments. In each case, I have the graph of the individual investment set to "custom", since I generally want to show the graph from a little before my purchase date to the present (or in case of stocks that I have sold, to the sell date), and my purchases are obviously not all done on the same day. But even though I have "custom" selected, and the box "apply changes to all open investments" unchecked, I find that between sessions, or sometimes when I'm editing one investment, the X-axis inexplicably shifts in other investments that I am not editing outside my custom settings to reflect, for example "Last 12 months" even though previously it was set to "custom". Frankly, I find this "drift" of the X-axis settings quite annoying. Is there anyway I can make the program remember my settings permanently? Or am I doing something wrong? I would really like to cut down my workload, but it seems that it's an inherent feature of Fund Manager, and I always seem to need to do this chore whenever I use the program. Any help would be appreciated (must dash, I have to go back to adjusting the x-axes yet again!) Jack
