: Hi Mark;
: I can download from Bank of America in a QIF file , would Fund Manager get the stock symbol date & etc correctly from the QIF file without my having to check to make sure all needed info is present. I will have to wait until next month to try because most of my dividends paid at my old firm, and I have already entered them manually.Will checks and bond interest & money market dividends screw up a Fund Manage import since I don't have a money account in Fund Manager. I am hoping Fund Manager will take what it can use & ignore the rest.
: I will probably have to import from Bank of America's Money Market sweep account on the Bank side, since the financial account page doesn't have a download button on it.

Hi Lawrence,

You can get an idea of how this will work by looking at the dialog
in Fund Manager under "File / Import / Transaction / Quicken...".

In a QIF file there can be transactions for more than one security, but
each transaction has a security name. You can control how Fund Manager
does the import, depending on your situation. For example, you can tell
Fund Manager to import all securities in the QIF file, or only a specific
one (see the Scan QIF button). You can also control the destination in
Fund Manager so that FM matches the QIF security with your Fund Manager
investment name, or force them into a specific Fund Manager investment.

It's pretty flexible, and if you choose the "Help" button on this dialog
you can read more about these options.

Thanks,
Mark
