Hi Marlowe,

Yes, inn the Custom report, there are many fields that include the
word "current", this means it reports only on the currently held shares.
For example, there are the "Gain (current)" and "%Gain (current)"
among others.

If you really want to keep things separate, you could also create a new
investment file for your current holdings. It is perfectly fine to have
multiple investments, all tracking the same security/fund in your portfolio.
You would assign the same name and symbol, but just give it a different
filename, or store it in a different folder.
