: Hi Mark : For some reason I can no longer get historical data in one batch for ~9 months anymore. The retreval program only updates for about 2 to 3 months at a time. : Has Yahoo changed it limit on the amount of Historical data requested at one time. I subscribe to real-time quotes from Yahoo. It seems to me they could make some provisions for paying customers to retain the old limits. : Can you confirm this change at Yahoo Historical quote? and/or a problem with the FM download module? Can you approch Yahoo on allowing the their paying customers a larger data limit? : Thanks, FC Hi Fred, Yes, Yahoo has recently changed how many quotes they offer per request. This affects the "Yahoo (Historical)" server only. You used to be able to get 200, but it is now closer to 65 unfortunately. You can still get all the data, but you'll have to make it in smaller requests, and repeat the internet retrieve for multiple date ranges. I'll update the online status for this quote server to document this change. In Fund Manager 7 we have fixed this. Fund Manager will automatically take care of breaking up the requested date range into smaller sections. This means to the user you can just request the whole date range you want, and Fund Manager will take care of the rest. Fund Manager 7 is scheduled to be out for beta testing next month (November). The official release will most likely be in January. Thanks, Mark -- Mark Beiley Fund Manager, portfolio management software for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/00/XP/2003
