: Hi Mark;
: Possible bug in FM 7B I opened a custom report that I created years ago. When I first opened it all the tool bar buttons were dark squares. But when I closed it & opened it again the toolbar buttons were back. Was this because of changing the file type wasn't complete, or a bug?
: I think I will stick with transaction imports, so all confidential info stay in my head instead of my computer. I assume that I am supposed to edit the QIF file from Bank of America in the Portfolio Editor. Want to do this correctly as not to mess up a 10 year portfolio history.

Hi Lawrence,

I'm not sure why that happened. I assume this was a memorized report you
were recalling? If so, could you use "regedit" to export the following
registry branch:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Beiley Software\Fund Manager\CurrentVersion\SETTINGS MEMRPT<#>

Note, that you will have one of these for each memorized report. I just
need the one in question, so you may look through them to find the one
you created. If you can just export that to a .reg file, and then email
it to me, that would be great.

The QIF file should not need to be edited... Overall the QIF file importing
works the same way that it always has. Just use "File / Import / Transactions / Quicken (*.QIF)...".
You can do this from any window, it doesn't have to be in the portfolio
editor. There are some new options, and you can preview the import results
before commiting to them now, but overall it works like it did before.

Thanks,
Mark
