: Hi Mark;
: If I import transactions into my portfolio after I copied the QIF file to my hard drive can I get by with just entering my account no with out giving out my password? If yes give instructions for importing transactions from a QIF file. Bank of America says if I give out my password they aren't responsible for my money.

Hi Lawrence,

Once you have your QIF file you don't need a password, or even your account
number. QIF file importing hasn't changed a whole lot from FM6, so you can
see the online help from that version. Have you been importing from QIF
previously? Basically, you just use "File / Import / Transactions / Quicken (QIF)...".

Hopefully it is self-explanatory from the dialog box...

Thanks,
Mark
