: : : Hi Mark,

: : : Last night (11/09) I had no problem updating my portfolio using Yahoo. Tonight (11/10) almost 90% of my stocks would not update. It appears Yahoo has changed their symbols - are you aware of this??

: : : Cheers,

: : : Derek

: : Hi Derek,

: : No, I'm not aware of any changes. I just tested some and they are all
: : still working. Can you give me an example ticker symbol that isn't working?
: : If you go to Yahoo's site with your browser, do they say the symbol
: : changed, and can you see the quote?

: : Thanks,
: : Mark

: Hi Mark;

: A lot of the symbols are income trusts in the format (abc.un) but here's one - Pengrowth Energy (TSX) - yesterday Pengrowth worked with (Yahoo) pgfb.to - tonight that symbol won't update and Pengrowth requires (Yahoo) pgf-b.to. This seems to be the case for many of the income trusts and class a,b,c shares.

: Derek

Hi Derek,

I see that if you request pgfb.to on Yahoo, they respond with pgf-b.to.
Unfortunately, I think the solution is for you to update your symbols to
their new values.

Thanks,
Mark
