Hi Fred, Does it only just show the path/filename of the investment? Does it say anything like "Could not save: " or anything else? What does the title of the message box show? Does it say "Fund Manager"? I'm wondering where the message box is coming from, as I think an FM message box would say something more than just the filename. I doubt the files are corrupt, as you were able to open them, right? Can you check that the files aren't marked as "Read-Only" for some reason? If you'd like, you can try zipping up all the investments/portfolio, and I can test saving them here. Thanks, Mark : Mark: The message in the warning box was the path to the directory and .dat file which was the correct path. Does this indicate the .dat is scrogged or is open by another process? I suppose crashing the computer in order to reboot could have corrupted the .dat files. Do you want me to restore them from backup before testing again? Thanks|FC
