Regarding Merrill Lynch supporting transaction downloads As of 2 years ago Merrill only allowed tab delimited downloads to Excel. They expressly forbid giving account login info to anyone or any thing. I imported Merrill's excel file into FM for years with out a problem. I did have to clean up the tab download and prepare it for import. Most of which could be done automatically with an excel macro. Merrill kicked me out because I wouldn't agree to a set monthly fee. There truncation download was efficient and safe, but did require excel. I should add that FM doesn't support excel files . Excel doesn't like to save a tab delimited file but will do it if you tell it to.
