Could FM be changed to prompt anytime it requires a password (to retrieve transactions) but the password field in the portfolio is empty? : Can you suggest any uses for hierarchical portfolios? I already have a set of portfolio files I use to view different subsets of investments, and the portfolio editor seems restrictive to me because it only shows investments in one sub-portfolio at a time (makes it hard to form an impression of all the investments in the full portfolio) and doesn't seem to provide a way to re-open a closed subportfolio without redefining what investments it contained. : Why display "Master" instead of the name of whatever portfolio is at the top of the currently-open hierarchy? Seems confusing to me (I started looking around for a portfolio file names master.mm4) and also inconsistent to show sub-portfolios by name, but refer to the top entry as "Master Portfolio" regardless of the portfolio/file name. : Suggest you relabel "All Dates" to "All Transactions available on server" for transaction retrieve, since it seems many providers provide less transaction data for download than they will display on browser panels (e.g. Hewitt)
Thanks for the feedback. I like the idea about prompting for the password if it is empty. I'll add Hierarchical portfolios can be used to help you organize your various accounts. You can rename "Master Portfolio" to anything you want. That is just the Thanks,
