: I too am unable to download from TD Waterhouse. They say they have different formats and I enabled the Quicken format. It still not work. It would be very helpful to know what format you use because they have no knowledge of Fund Manager Hi Gary,
It does not matter which format you sign up with, either Quicken or Money formats will work. It seems a few people are having trouble signing into TD Waterhouse. I'm not sure what the problem is... I have just this morning tested my pesonal account retrieval from TD Waterhouse. I was originally signed up with Waterhouse as a Quicken user. That worked fine. I called them this morning, and switched to Money. That again still worked fine. Really, the only difference is the format of the reply from their OFX server. Quicken has created a slightly modified format, called QFX. It is very similar to OFX, but has a few Quicken specific extensions, which would be ignored by Fund Manager. Fund Manager can read either OFX or QFX, which is why it doesn't matter whether you sign up as a Quicken or Money user. If you want a recommendation, I'd say go with Money. Money uses the standard, unmodified, OFX format. All of this really doesn't matter if you are getting the "Signon invalid" message, as you're not even getting to the point of downloading transactions. Are you getting this Signon invalid message, or are you running into some other problem? Thanks, Mark -- Mark Beiley Fund Manager, portfolio management software for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/00/XP/2003
