: : Good point Raised.

: : How can you use FM7 to easily find the earliest dated investment, so that you can modify it, either assign it to a differnt portfolio , or get rid of it.

: : Ancient records can skew a Portfolio graph , with most recent investment activity too bunched up on the RHS of the screen.

: : For example
: : If I Ctl_T to get graph with "Earliest to date" graph, That is graph my portfolio with the earliest investment to date, Is there an easy way to use FM7 to guide me to that investment at the earliest date ? The best I can come up with is to hunt manually and peck it out.

: :
: : In other words, The majority of my investments may be made recently , I may want to edit out or hive off investments that are so far back in time that my portfolio graphs show a lot of white space to the left hand side.

: : NOTES ON Portfolio Graph.
: : Another good point. I set my graph up to show the Portfolio Gain.
: : If I click on the toolbar NOTE icon to create a note it chooses to assign a note to the active investment and not my currently visible Portfolio gain graph.

: : I think it would be useful to have a Notes mode that is able to assign notes to the top graph (the graph on view) rather than the underlying active investment.

: Hi George,

: You can sort your investment stack by date of first transaction using
: "Investments / Sort By / Inception Date" from the Graphs window. You can
: also create a "Custom" report with the "Investment Inception Date" as a field.
: This is the date of the first transaction in each investment.

: Currently, we only have Notes that are assigned to investments. There
: are no notes associated with each specific graph type. You can have
: unlimited notes assigned as properties for each sub-portfolio, or investment
: based notes, but we don't have graph specific notes. Thanks for the
: feedback.

: Thanks,
: Mark

Thanks for the tip Mark. Useful.

BTW - Notes in Graphs would be useful.
