: : : : Hi
: : : : Since I updated to FM 7, in report «portfolio performance» the only sort that doesn't work is the « by % gain ». Any help?

: : :
: : : Hi Christopher,

: : : I couldn't reproduce this bug. This action should sort the "Investment stack"
: : : by the "% Gain - I" field. Is your report listed by "Investment"? If you're
: : : listing your report by "Symbol", this doesn't necessarily match the order of
: : : the investment stack. We don't have good sorting options for listing by
: : : symbol, this is something I plan to add.

: : : Thanks,
: : : Mark

: : Hi Mark,

: : I am having the same problem as Christopher even after downloading version 7.1. Sort by "% Gain" and by "Yield" do not work. Report is listed by "Investment" and is year to date portfolio performance for 2005. Help.

: : Thanks,

: Hi Devendra,

: It appears to be working properly in 7.1 when I test it. Are you using
: the menu commands "Investment / Sort By" while viewing this Portfolio
: Performance report? The %Gain sort will sort by the %Gain-I field, not
: the %Gain-V field. Can you also verify using "Help / About..." that
: you are using version 7.1?

: Thanks,
: Mark

Hi Mark,

I went back and played around and after sorting by value and then sorting by %Gain it seems to be working. Had to do the same thing for sorting by "yield" to make it work. However, I have S&P500 index listed as purchased .001 shares and this sorts to the top of the list??? Strange quirk!

I am using version 7.1 quote module 361 transaction module 111.

Devendra
