: : : Hello!

: : : I'm probably the dunce of the universe but I can't get a long custom report to print. The warning comes up that the report is outside margins but I figured it'd print the whole report anyway but only prints the first report. We wanted to look at several different calculations/yields, etc on a portfolio to decide what we wanted to include in client reports. How can I get the rest of the report (beyond the first page) to print??

: : : Thanks - Gerry

: : Hi Gerry,

: : It sounds like your report is wider than a printed page. If this happens
: : your report will be truncated. A couple of tips... You can do a "File /
: : Page Setup..." and change to print in Landscape mode. You can also adjust
: : the report font to be smaller, and you can resize the columns to be a little
: : narrower before printing. All of this will help get more information across
: : a single page width.

: : Thanks,

: Hello Again Mark

: I've done all your suggestions but our data still doesn't fit. So in other words, there can never be more than one page to any custom report?

: Thanks - Gerry

Hi Gerry,

Reports can print multiple pages in the "Row" dimension (vertically), but they
cannot print multiple pages in the "Column" dimension (horizontally). If
your report is wider than a printed page you can look at it on the screen,
or use the techniques above to narrow it down, or make the page wider, but
FM isn't smart enough to break a report apart horizontally across multiple
pages.

Thanks,
Mark
