: Mark -- I've gone back to 6.8. I've changed the way I use it though. I brought in the split up fund files -- janus_porta, janus_portb etc. in your example. So each file has only the transactions for a particular portfolio. But now since they have different names I can keep them in the same directory.

: And I've created a lot of separate portfolios. One of them has ALL of my investments and it is the one I open to update prices -- one click and all prices are updated. Cool.

: Then I have all my other portfolios -- that just grab the subset of investment files that belong to them. And when I open each portfolio in turn, what opens is the one investment overlay graph I want to see for that portfolio. Cool.

: It is a more efficient way of using FM6.8 than what I had been doing.

: Would you please refund my upgrade fee -- email me if you need credit card number or whatever. Also, it doesn't say unregistered so maybe I'm registered but I don't know how that could be. What do I need if it ever asks me to register?

: Mark -- I really do get a lot of value from FM, it is great. And the amount of time you have spent trying to help me here is really quite unbelieveable and VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.

: I'll try not to bug you for awhile.

Hi Oakey,

Okay, glad you found a solution you're happy with. I've refunded your
7.x upgrade fee back to your same credit card.

I will email you your 6.x password, so you can keep that in your records in case
you need it again.

Thanks,
Mark
