: : I notice that when I update transactions from Schwab some of the my recent transactions show up but others do not.

: : Buy/sell and dividends seem to show up ok but Monthly transers from my checking account do not.

: : Is this a limitation of Fund Manager or of the way Schwab's transaction protocol is set up?

:
: Hi Jay,

: This is probably a limitation on the Schwab side. They may not make the
: checking account transfers available as transactions on their OFX server.
: If you really want to investigate you can look in the "ofxretr.txt" file
: in the Fund Manager folder after a retrieve. This shows all the raw
: data returned from the OFX server.

: Thanks,

Well, the ofxretr.txt file is not the most intuitive thing to read but I do see entries in there that seem to indicate that Schwab is, indeed, passing along the monthly fund transers. This would put the problem back on Fund Manager.

Would you like a copy of my retrieval file and a snapshot of what actually shows up in the retrieval screen?

I'm a past user of Fund Manager and am seriously thinking of buying the upgrade since this new transaction retrieval feature has a lot of potential. It's less useful, though, if it only snags some transactions.

Thanks,

Jay
