: To get this in a report format broken down by lot you could turn on the Wash Sales rule. This is in the Professional/Advisor versions. See "Report Preferences / Capital Gain Reports / Use Wash Sale Rules". The other way you could get this data is to use the "Specify Lots..." dialog (which is also available in the Personal version). Just press the "FIFO" button, and it will automatically assign all the lots based on this method, so you can see how each lot was allocated.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your quick response. I have the personal version so I probably can't see the Wash Sale Rules or at least I did not find it.

When I sold the shares, I had to specify how many of which Lot of shares I wanted to sell - it did not follow the FIFO rules. I have used the "Specify Lots..." Dialog to allocate the shares I sold from the different purchased lots to the sale, and I can see them on the screen when I use the "Specify Lots... dialog. I was wondering if there was a way for me to print this information out other than by using a screen dump.

I can always get the info from the broker each time I need it, but I thought that seeing as I had entered it into Fund Manager there could be some way of me printing it from there to show my tax agent the detail beghind the summary report he would get. Some sort of standard report, or a custom report, or a detail print-out of the Specify Lots dialogue screen?
