Hi Mark,

Thanks for the quick reply.

2. This is great. I presume 7.2 is the next release.

3. It was checked off. I turned it off when I try to figure out why that sell transaction was not feteched. It is on now. It would be nice to have the transaction loading mechanism fool proof (in my case, I spent hours to bring everything back in sync with my real accounts).

4.

a) The cash account need to be a different animal than investments. For example, it should have only 'value' and not 'shares * price'. Its prices cannot be retrieved. Or, its transactions should reflect cash operations such as ('deposite' (new money), 'withdrawl' (getting money out), 'debit' (bought shares), 'credit' (sold shares) etc. Further more, the program should make sure that if I remove a share 'buy' transaction, the matching 'debit' transaction should be deleted as well.

b) Implicit cash is my favorit. Since every investment transaction has a matching cash transaction (actually these are two sides of the same transaction), I cut the amount of information by half. I see only one entry per transaction and the program tabulates the cash balances.

BTW, I like very much the unlimited hierarchical structure that FM provides using sub-porfolios. This is one of its best features.
